ARTIST BIOGRAPHY
Paul McCall was born in Orlando, Florida and spent his childhood in the Bourdeaux and Verdun regions of France before returning to the United States to live in Tacoma, Washington. Mr. McCall has participated in exhibitions in museums, galleries, and public spaces including the Birmingham Civil Rights Museum in Alabama, the Meridian Museum of Art in Mississippi, the Seattle Art Museum, the Wing Luke Asian Museum, Consolidated Works, The Center on Contemporary Art (CoCA), and the Washington State Convention Center in Seattle. Paul McCall has also been the recipient of the Pratt Fine Arts Center’s Pathways Scholarship and the EDGE Award from Artist Trust in Seattle. Paul McCall is represented by the Fountainhead Gallery in Seattle, Washington.
Currently Mr. McCall resides in Hattiesburg, Mississippi and the central valley of Costa Rica. He divides his time between painting, teaching acrylic painting, and exploring the southern regions of the United States, Central America, and the Yucatan Peninsula in Mexico.
